1. Increased Strength and Rigidity

  • Metal ties  offer superior tensile strength compared to plastic ties.

  • They reduce block movement or deformation during concrete pours — especially in tall walls or under high pour pressure.

The block uses thirty-three (33%) (+) percent less OPC (ordinary Portland cement) to fill its voids compared to most  conventional CMU blocks. 

Due to its design and “post and beam” construction method, the block utilizes less concrete than most IFC systems, including “flat-wall” and “waffle-grid” ICF systems.

Compressive strength equals one-hundred (100%) percent after twenty-eight (28) days; one-hundred twenty-five (125%) percent after one-hundred eighty (180) days.
